This alternator is the left hand fit version L/H which is not the common right hand alternator fitted to this engine. The standard mounting position of the left hand fit alternator is on the right hand side of the engine when viewed from the fan belt end but is mounted with the tension strap underneath the alternator which makes it a left hand fit alternator as we have listed.
