Its always best to replace your dryer lid if it's an original plastic one. Filter pads and a long bolt & nut to ease dryer filter assembly. Your original air dryer cover can just leak Vital Air Pressure around the air line fittings but more likely an air line crack will be present between the 2 coloured air fitting connections on the air dryer lid/cover.
