This repair plate is made from 1.5mm 304 Stainless Steel. It has been rumbled to make it smooth and give it an abraded surface to get a better seal and to remove any rough or sharp edges. The plate fit's between the cylinder head and the pipe that goes to the EGR valve housing (pictured in header pictures).
