This plate is 1.5mm thick laser cut 304 stainless steel, and has been rumbled to make it smooth and give it an abraded surface to get a better seal. The plate is slotted to make it simple to fit. The bolts just need to be loosened, the plate slipped in, the re-tightened (easiest from under the van, and can be done in 5 minutes).
