MK1 1989 > 1998. ECU Temperature Sensor, MX5 Mk1 1.6 1989>1999. Fits all Mk1 1.6 MX5 models, 1989>1998. This switch sends the the coolant temperature to the ECU and opens the choke when required. These are a common failure on Mk1 models so if you car starts from cold but not hot, misfires, has increased fuel consumption and generally runs rough then chances are this is the problem.
