If your ice pick style door handles don't sit flush with the outside of the door its most likely the spring has snapped. Its a shame to replace a perfectly useable handle if its just the spring has failed. the handle is easy to remove and spring easy to change We also sell the later model spring in the Wolfsburg Restos ebay shop.
