These rubber bungs are found on the doors and rear inner side panels on Beetles, Type 3's and Karmann ghias They are there to protect the interior MDF panel from moisture and also holds the MDF trim clips tight. Supplied as a pack of 25 Bungs These bungs are also used for the exterior body trim on pre 1966 Beetles The MDF metal clips are also available from the Wolfsburg Restos ebay shop.
