This rubber boot is what joins the petrol tank filler neck to the wheel arch. It is often perished with age which will allow mud and water to enter the petrol tank causing all sorts of problems. The metal retaining ring and Plastic surround are also available from teh Wolfsburg Restos ebay shop.
