This fuel pump this is originally used on models with dynamos 1961 to 1973 models which use a 108mm pushrod Visually these pumps are flat topped where as the Alternator style pumps lean over to the left to cleaar the larger Alternator body This pump is made exclusively for BBT and has circlips on the pivot pinwhich other models don't. The ones without the circlips are at risk of the pin falling out rendering the vehicle stranded. Easy to change with just 2 13mm nuts. The fule pump flange are also available from the Wolfsburg Restos ebay shop Fits all aircooled models with a 108mm Fuel pump pushrod.
